Personal Safety and Self Defence Systems

How safe are you in todays society?

Do you feel you are aware of potential threats, dangers and risks to you and your personal safety?

There are hundreds of different self defence programs out there, some are great some not so good. These latter ‘systems’ don’t really deliver in terms of providing an actual ‘real life’ application of an effective system to prevent you becoming a victim or being able to defend yourself against one or multiple attackers.

This is why we have developed a ‘real world’ system which covers areas that some do not, such as:

Situational Awareness – your surroundings, location and people and how to threat discriminate.

Law – Legal Use of Force.

Auditory Overload – Using all 5 Senses to your advantage.

Practical Application of Force – How to engage in ‘combat’ when necessary, practically and deter an attacker, subdue the threat and ‘win’ the fight.

Psychological, Physiological, Emotional battle – how to overcome fear, the perception of violence and the confront the unknown threat.

Verbal Communication – How to de-escalate an evolving confrontation.

What is FearFear is a chain reaction in the brain that starts with a stressful stimulus and ends with the release of chemicals that cause a racing heart, fast breathing and energized muscles, among other things, also known as the fight-or-flight response.

In doing so the body shuts down certain senses to protect the vital organs, and brain. Fine motor skills become reduced and there is a lack of cognition and co-ordination which reduces the effectiveness of the senses such as sight, hearing and the thought process.

Being exposed to stressful situations tests the individuals reactions. By increasing stimulus in certain situations through practice and repetition, this can afford the individual the opportunity needed to repel an attack and choose ‘fight’ over ‘Flight’.
